The Role
- Work 1:1 with pupils with SEN, supporting their individual learning needs
- Support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing, confidence, and engagement
- Work closely alongside the class teacher to support learning and behaviour
- Assist with implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs
- Carry out observations and record pupil progress to support assessments
- Encourage positive behaviour and independence
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
About You
- Experience working with children, within a UK primary school or other settings
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Patient, caring, and emotionally resilient
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed, reliable, and proactive
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
