A welcoming nursery in Didcot is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children during the early years of their education within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Working alongside experienced Early Years practitioners, you will help deliver engaging learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Support children aged 0–5 years with their learning and development
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and communication development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions
- Observe children's progress and provide feedback to the wider nursery team
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to Work in the UK
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
