We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join a supportive mainstream school in the UB3 area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with young children in a nurturing environment while making a real difference in their early development.
The Role
- Support children 1:1 and in small groups, including those with SEN
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences in line with EYFS framework
- Assist with daily routines and activities to promote learning, independence, and social skills
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teachers and the wider staff team to maintain a safe and inclusive environment
About You
- CACHE Level 3 in Childcare (essential)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and early years development
- Experience supporting children in nursery or primary school settings
- Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
- Patient, compassionate, and resilient with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable assisting with personal care where required
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
