We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join a supportive mainstream school in the UB3 area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with young children in a nurturing environment while making a real difference in their early development.

The Role

  • Support children 1:1 and in small groups, including those with SEN
  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences in line with EYFS framework
  • Assist with daily routines and activities to promote learning, independence, and social skills
  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider staff team to maintain a safe and inclusive environment

About You

  • CACHE Level 3 in Childcare (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and early years development
  • Experience supporting children in nursery or primary school settings
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
  • Patient, compassionate, and resilient with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care where required
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
