We are currently recruiting 2–3 experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for candidates who are confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and committed to making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Support behaviour regulation using de-escalation strategies
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Assist with learning activities and classroom engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Resilient, patient, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (UDS) – essential
- Available for an immediate start
