Uniform Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH school in SM5 for a committed and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role
- Support pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs in the classroom and around the school

- Promote positive behaviour using consistent strategies
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and therapists to support individual learning and behaviour plans

About You
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs
- Is patient, resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations
- Has strong behaviour management skills and can build positive relationships with pupils
- Is passionate about making a difference to young people's lives
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues and families
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply through Uniform Education
