Behaviour Mentor – Hillingdon

Location: Hillingdon, West London
Start Date: ASAP Start
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time

We are seeking a resilient and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive mainstream primary school in Hillingdon. This role involves working closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support to help them engage positively with learning.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support for pupils
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and social skills development
• Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
• Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support learning
• Deliver targeted interventions to promote positive behaviour
• Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

What We\’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with behavioural or additional needs
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
• Ability to build positive relationships and set clear boundaries
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
