About the Role
- Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework
- Plan and deliver play-based and age-appropriate activities
- Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, communication, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child’s needs
Requirements
- CACHE Level 2 or above in Childcare – essential
- Experience working within an Early Years / nursery setting
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
