About the Role
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, language, and physical development
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate observations and records
- Differentiate activities to meet the needs of all learners
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and staff
- Work collaboratively with the wider Early Years team to support children's development and wellbeing
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to Work in the UK - essential
Desirable
- Experience supporting children with additional needs or speech and language delays
- Phonics knowledge and early literacy experience
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
