Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults in systems at customer sites using remote management tools or in person when necessary.
  • Provide technical remote support for clients and team members.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of AV, network, control, and unified communications equipment.
  • Support client presentations, conferences, and events, including AV system setup and breakdown.
  • Take ownership of delivering safe and high-quality service and repair work.
  • Maintain accurate job records, electronic files, and customer-facing service reports.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Organise repair or shipment of faulty equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure proper calibration and use of test equipment.
  • Liaise with internal departments, clients, and third-party contractors for smooth task execution.
  • Suggest improvements to service delivery and technical methods.
  • Provide cover for staff absences and peak demand periods as necessary.
  • Comply with information security policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Technologies: Support, Network, Security.
  • Strong technical foundation in audio-visual systems, including video conferencing, unified communications (UC) systems, digital signal processing, video systems, and audio systems.
  • Experience and knowledge in AMX, Crestron, Medialon, Q-Sys, Alcorn McBride, and other control systems.
  • Solid IT and networking skills.
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong initiative.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with flexibility to adapt to varying tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, including case management systems.
  • Capable of tasks involving lifting and moving equipment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance.
  • Full driving license and valid passport required.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and schematic diagrams.
