Requirements
- 4 years audio-visual experience in installation, onsite, or tech support
- Ability to terminate cables, particularly Cat5/6, RS232, and Audio TRS
- Knowledge of audio room acoustic optimization within various environments
- Effective communication skills at all levels, especially client-facing
- Good numeracy and written skills
- Organized with the ability to prioritize workload while dealing proactively with clients
- Quick response to service desk tickets
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and professional appearance
- Fully compliant with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Clean driving license and current passport holder
- AVIXA CTS certification
- Networking knowledge, especially identifying issues regarding Dante/AES67 in respect to Qo S/PTP/IGMP (desirable)
- Crestron P101, Extron School of AV, Cisco CCIP, and Microsoft Teams core skills (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Provide field-based service and support to clients
- Service and support audio-visual, video conferencing, pro audio, and control equipment
- Diagnose faults, remove, repair, test, implement, and operate audio-visual, video conference, display, and presentation tech
- Carry out preventative maintenance visits and train end users as needed
- Perform post-implementation fault finding, testing, and repair of audio-visual equipment
- Ensure site cleanliness and adherence to rules and H&S procedures
- Provide adhoc on-site tech cover for annual leave and sickness
- Complete post-job and PM reports
- Provide phone and email tech support
- Conduct product research and development for client requirements
- Continue personal development plan and applicable training
- Maintain awareness of IMS and Quality Policy
