Part-time Cleaner vacancy at Stansted Airport

• £13.62 per hour




• Tuesdays & Fridays 12pm-4pm




• Saturdays 7am-11am

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional Cleaner for a VIP lounge facility at Stansted Airport. You must be proactive and adaptable and strive to ensure the highest levels of cleaning standards are consistently met, demonstrating a flexible attitude in the workplace as well as maintaining discretion and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities

• To contribute to a culture of engagement, involvement and continuous improvement within the team.




• General cleaning of offices and staff area.




• Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment.




• Vacuuming carpets, wiping down furniture and surfaces.




• Mopping, sanitising, dusting and polishing of surfaces.




• Maintaining exceptional standard of cleanliness in lounge




• Always maintain a safe working environment, especially when using equipment and PPE.




• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualities required

• Ability to work under pressure to schedules and adapt quickly to suit client needs.




• Ability to work shifts, bank holidays and weekends.




• A full manual driving licence recognised by the UK is desirable.




• Good attention to detail to take pride in cleaning standards.




• Previous aircraft cleaning experience would be highly beneficial.




• Valid Passport/ID and right to work in the UK.




• Proof of Address and National Insurance Number.




• 5 years' check-able work history.




• Receipt of a satisfactory standard disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.




• Must be willing to undergo relevant training as required.




• Zero tolerance approach to health & safety non-compliance.
