Location: Unidine at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI

Setting: Acute Care

Schedule: Monday – Friday with some weekend support required

Salary: $70K-$75K

Responsibilities

  • Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services and clinical nutrition services based on medical direction and patient population
  • Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop patient services and clinical nutrition staff
  • Foster teamwork and implement innovative programs to achieve optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
  • Monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of patient services and clinical staff
  • Comply with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting bodies) while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient rights policies
  • Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board where applicable required
  • Two (2) years of healthcare experience as a Registered Dietitian, including managerial responsibilities in clinical/patient services (2 years minimum) required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software
