Location: Unidine at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI
Setting: Acute Care
Schedule: Monday – Friday with some weekend support required
Salary: $70K-$75K

Responsibilities
- Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services and clinical nutrition services based on medical direction and patient population
- Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop patient services and clinical nutrition staff
- Foster teamwork and implement innovative programs to achieve optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
- Monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of patient services and clinical staff
- Comply with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting bodies) while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient rights policies
- Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board where applicable required
- Two (2) years of healthcare experience as a Registered Dietitian, including managerial responsibilities in clinical/patient services (2 years minimum) required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software
