The Analytics Implementation Engineer will play an important role in supporting UNiDAYS product, engineering and marketing goals through maintaining the way we capture digital and product data (App and Web). Product analysts are the primary consumers of this data, so the role involves close, ongoing collaboration with them to ensure what we capture is accurate, trusted and ready for reporting.
This role is best suited to those with experience of responsibilities for digital data capture, ideally with exposure to doing so on mobile applications and websites. Day to day you’ll be responsible for correctly measuring our digital journeys and product features, implementing MarTech tags yourself and, where needed, partnering with our engineering teams to get implementation right.
- Experience working with engineering teams to advise on and support the implementation of tracking solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into engineering-friendly specifications.
- Hands-on experience implementing and debugging analytics tracking in mobile apps (iOS and/or Android), including validating event data with tools such as Charles Proxy.
- Hands-on experience across the product/digital analytics/MarTech stack, particularly Google Analytics 4 and a tag manager such as Google Tag Manager (or equivalent).
- Experience working with Segment or a similar customer data platform. (Desirable)
- A working understanding of marketing technology principles and data pipelines. (Desirable)
- Basic familiarity with BigQuery for querying GA4 export data. (Desirable)
- Experience working in a product-centric, sprint-based (Agile) environment. (Desirable)
