As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, enabling care, lead and manage staff, and contribute to a team that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed, person-centred support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity, while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Implement robust activity plans that encourage autonomy, new experiences, and flexibility, regularly engaging with individuals to seek their views.
- Support individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews, adhering to the Mental Capacity Act principles.
- Tailor the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies, including Fire Safety, are followed.
- Recruit and manage staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes, ensuring person-centred schedules and personal development plans.
- Deliver outstanding care and support by adhering to Salutem's Quality Assurance framework, embodying core values, and managing incidents according to policies.
