About The Company

Beaumont College is a very special place. We provide highly personalised pathways for special school leavers, supporting them in their journey to become adults and live independent, fulfilling lives.

Each student spends 2-3 years following an intensive multi-disciplinary team study programme that helps them transition into busy, productive, and fulfilling adult lives.

About You

About The Role

Pathways are highly personalised, combining outcomes for education, health, and care. Pre-entry assessments utilize existing information from the current school or college, health and care professionals, and the latest Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). These assessments include interactive sessions with the applicant and their parent or carer.

Our physiotherapists and assistants develop tailored therapeutic plans for direct treatment or delegated responsibilities, supporting students through challenging and ambitious pathways to reach their potential. This may involve pain management strategies, maintaining flexibility, or enabling wheelchair users to stand and turn independently. Students benefit from the expertise and dedication of physiotherapists with empathy and understanding of complex health conditions and learning disabilities.

As students transition from child to adult NHS services, support includes planning for life beyond college, such as accessing Personal Independence Payments (PIPs) to continue essential therapy and maintain an active lifestyle post-graduation.
