Aion Bank is a fully regulated European bank and credit institution, combining Vodeno’s cutting-edge, private blockchain-based platform with its ECB banking license, strong balance sheet, and deep regulatory expertise. As part of the UniCredit Group, Aion Bank and Vodeno will accelerate their digital banking offer in strategic markets and will act as a sandbox for innovation for the wider UniCredit Group. Aion Bank and Vodeno's existing Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering across key European markets, including Germany and Poland, will see the bank embed its services - ranging from account access and deposits to lending, payments and loyalty programs - directly into non-banking digital platforms, facilitating seamless customer experiences.

We are currently looking for a BaaS Business Development Manager/Director in the UK ready to join our adventure and share our ambition. This is a truly unique opportunity for someone who has the ambition to play a crucial role growing business with clients across Europe.

  • Strategic planning: develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Client acquisition: lead efforts in acquiring new clients.
  • Revenue generation: meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and leading negotiations from start to finish.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with internal teams, including product development, legal & compliance, finance and delivery, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.

5+ years of proven track record of success in business development within the fintech sector is a must. Strong understanding of lending, financial markets & products and industry regulation. Local knowledge of the Italian, French, Spanish or DACH market is a clear added value. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities. Ability to communicate fluently in English.
