Location: London (Hybrid) β with some flexibility for US East Coast hours
About the Company
Our client is a fast-scaling, Y Combinator-backed SaaS platform operating in the FinOps / cloud cost management space, helping engineering and finance teams gain visibility and control over their cloud spend. They work with a growing roster of mid-market and enterprise customers across the UK and US, and are building out their go-to-market team to support continued growth on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Role
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join a high-performing GTM team, generating and qualifying pipeline for the sales organisation. This is a great opportunity for someone with a year or more of SDR/BDR experience who wants to specialise in a technical, high-growth category - with genuine progression into a closing role.
Because the business serves both UK and US customers, you'll need to be comfortable covering some early evening hours to collaborate with US-based colleagues and prospects, alongside standard London hours.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospecting and generating qualified pipeline through outbound calls, emails, and social selling (LinkedIn, etc.)
- Researching and qualifying inbound leads, routing and booking meetings for Account Executives
- Understanding prospects' cloud infrastructure and cost challenges well enough to have credible, consultative conversations
- Working closely with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging, targeting, and outbound sequences
- Maintaining accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM
- Hitting and exceeding monthly/quarterly meeting and pipeline targets
- Building product and market knowledge across cloud cost management, FinOps practices, and the wider SaaS/infrastructure landscape
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years' experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar sales development role, ideally within SaaS
- Some experience with, or a strong understanding of, FinOps, cloud infrastructure, or cloud cost management concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP, cloud billing, cost optimisation, etc.)
- Degree educated
- A track record of hitting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working some hours aligned with the US market
- Coachable, curious, and resilient β genuinely motivated to build a career in SaaS sales
- Experience with a modern sales stack (e.g. Salesforce/HubSpot, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus
What's on Offer
- Hybrid working from London
- Exposure to a fast-growing, category-defining part of the SaaS market
- Supportive, high-performing team culture with strong onboarding and sales enablement
