Summary: AI-Powered SaaS for Green Energy Installations
This climate tech startup is streamlining the troublesome, tedious heat pump installation process. The platform manages the entire installation journey from initial enquiry through to final compliance paperwork, freeing installers to focus on what really matters: delivering high-quality installations, providing great customer service, and scaling their business. Despite only getting started at the beginning of 2024, the business is already having a massive impact on installation businesses, suppliers, and manufacturers across the UK, halving the time spent on each job, doubling sales conversion rates, and boosting bottom lines.
This is a rare early-stage commercial role working directly alongside the founder and first growth hire to drive the next phase of scale from 700 customers to thousands of installers over the next 18 months. The role is deliberately broad, owning growth experiments across the full marketing funnel, creating and managing ad creative and content, building RevOps systems to help the commercial team scale efficiently, and digging into data to identify where conversion and retention can improve. The ceiling for ownership is genuinely high; the right person could go on to run marketing, launch new geographies, or own an entirely new product vertical.
Experience Required
- 1–6 years of experience in any industry (background is less important than trajectory and mindset)
- Strong AI literacy — not just awareness, but active, creative usage of LLMs to build and automate things; this is a meaningful differentiator for the founder
- Analytically sharp — comfortable in Excel, able to interrogate data and draw actionable conclusions
- Excellent written communication — can write compelling, concise copy across formats (ads, emails, onboarding content)
- Genuinely excited by the commercial/growth side of a business — not just ops or project management, but moving revenue
- Signs of proactivity and ownership — someone who has pushed for more responsibility, grown quickly, and isn't satisfied coasting
- Bonus: any sales or direct customer-facing experience; not required but valued
- Bonus: genuine interest in climate tech or heat
