Our client is building the agentic finance platform for money movement — helping businesses automate how they get paid, manage cash flow, and run their finances. Our platform combines deep payments infrastructure with AI‑powered customer agents that optimise credit control for each customer: the right channel, the right timing, the right action, all handled automatically while keeping humans in control.

We are looking for a Commercial Associate/Account Executive to join our fast‑growing sales team. This is a 360‑degree AE role, giving you ownership of the full sales lifecycle - from prospecting to closing - focusing on selling through accountants to SMB/Mid Market organisations across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Own the entire sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to closing deals
  • Sell Adfin’s invoicing platform through accountants to UK SMB/Mid Market
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with accountants and their clients
  • Conduct demos, clearly presenting product benefits in a consultative manner
  • Pass clients to Customer Success for ongoing account management
  • Contribute to shaping a high‑performance sales culture
Experience Required
  • 1–2 years' experience in SDR, BDR, consulting, or a client‑facing commercial role
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota or commercial targets in a mid‑market environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Top 200 global university preferred
  • Strong discovery, objection handling, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Fintech, payments, or financial SaaS experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Autonomous, self‑motivated, and able to self‑motivate
  • Quick thinker, adaptable, and thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth startup
