A long-established technology manufacturer is seeking an Electronics Production Technician to join their specialist research and development facility in Witchford. The business designs and produces advanced embedded computer and digital video hardware used globally across industrial sectors, with products supporting video capture, encoding, streaming and AI/ML-driven processing.

This role offers the chance to work at the centre of cutting-edge digital video and machine-learning technology, supporting a team of Electronics and Software Engineers and contributing directly to high-quality product output.

The Role

You will work across a range of embedded computer modules and digital video products, carrying out hands-on production and testing activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Batch testing of embedded computer modules, peripheral cards and systems
  • Collecting test data and reporting observations
  • Conformance testing of products
  • Investigating and resolving hardware issues

Technical Skills (Essential)

  • Experience and knowledge of circuit board testing
  • Ability to read and understand simple electronic circuit diagrams
  • Skilled in using digital meters and oscilloscopes
  • Experience using a soldering iron
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Qualified to C&G/HND/HNC level
