Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire (Head Office based)

Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Standard full-time warehouse hours (flexibility required, occasional overtime expected).

Salary: £25,000 to £26,500 depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload and process incoming deliveries, checking against delivery notes for accuracy, damage or shortages.
  • Sort and store stock accurately on pallets, racks, shelves or bins in designated locations.
  • Pick customer orders accurately, ensuring correct products, quantities and variations are selected.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
  • Prepare completed orders for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and attached.
  • Safely load prepared orders onto delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secure for transit.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and support accurate inventory control, reporting discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment, keeping aisles and work areas clear.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks, picking trolleys, ladders and forklifts (where trained and certified).
  • Comply fully with health and safety requirements, including reporting accidents, near misses and hazards.
  • Consistently wear required PPE including high-visibility clothing, safety footwear and gloves when required.

Person Specification

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English at Grade C or Level 4 and above.
  • Physically fit and capable of undertaking a highly manual role across multiple warehouse areas.
  • Full, current UK driving licence.
  • Basic administrative capability.
  • Computer literate.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Current Counterbalance forklift certificate.
  • Access to own transport due to office location.
