Temp Assembly Operatives Location: Waterbeach, Cambs Salary: £13.21/hr Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Our client is a leading aerospace company specialising in the manufacturing of high-specification interior panels for aircraft. They pride themselves on quality and precision, and we are looking for dedicated Assembly Operatives to join their team. Job Overview: As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling high-specification panels for aircraft interiors. This role requires the use of hand and power tools and the ability to read technical drawings. Successful candidates will undergo an initial training period, including a “buddy” system for hands-on training, before joining the production team. Key Responsibilities: Assemble aircraft interior panels using hand and power tools such as chisels and scalpels. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly. Follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Requirements: Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
