Location: Near Ely (own transport advised)

Hours: Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm

Salary: £28,000–£30,000 + private health insurance

Join our client who is a growing flavourings manufacturer supplying products to the food and beverage industry. You’ll support the Quality team to ensure all products meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Our client is a small and friendly family run business who puts their people at the heart of their business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out QC checks on raw materials and finished products
  • Conduct taste and smell evaluations
  • Operate lab and analytical equipment (training provided)
  • Maintain quality records and documentation
  • Support internal audits and BRCGS/GMP compliance
  • Report and help resolve quality issues

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation and record‑keeping
  • Clear communication skills
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Able to work independently and in a small team

Desirable:

  • QC or food manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, HACCP
  • Sensory or lab testing experience

Working Environment

  • Mix of lab, production, and office work
  • Regular tasting and smelling of flavourings
  • PPE required in production/lab areas
