Location: Home based, covering the territory including Cumbria, Northumberland, Newcastle, Yorkshire (Leeds, Doncaster, Bradford), and down to Nottingham

Working Hours: Full-time, flexible within territory to meet customer needs

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Uncapped commission of £20-£25k, car allowance £725/month or Company car and pay full for mileage 45p for first 10,000 miles

Overview: A leading healthcare group is seeking a Medical Sales Specialist to drive sales of the Group’s enteral product range across the Northern & Notts territory. This role is ideal for a passionate, commercially minded individual with a strong personality and excellent interpersonal skills, who thrives on building long-lasting relationships with healthcare professionals. The role is home-based, offering flexibility, while requiring a structured, strategic approach to territory management. Training, account management, and after-sales support are key to the role’s success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Develop and implement a territory and account sales strategy
  • Maximise sales through product introductions, presentations, trials, closing, and contract negotiation
  • Manage product mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed objectives
  • Identify and engage key decision makers, opinion leaders, and influencers
  • Further develop existing accounts and secure new accounts
  • Monitor competitors and market activity, reporting insights to management
  • Identify upcoming tenders and opportunities within the territory
  • Attend key professional congresses and events to promote products and expand networks
Internal & Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate records of customer and prospect interactions using CRM systems
  • Provide comprehensive, timely reporting on sales activity, account status, and market trends
  • Plan and prepare sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy
  • Attend required regional and national meetings, contributing insights and expertise
