Location: Loughborough
Pay Rate: £12.50 to £12.82 per hour
Contract: Temporary with possibility of perm after 12 weeks
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:30, Friday: 07:00 to 12:30
Overtime available: Saturdays (time and a half), Sundays (double time)

Our client is a well established electronics manufacturing business specialising in the assembly of high quality electronic components and printed circuit boards. They support a range of industries requiring precision, consistency and reliable production standards.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cable / PCB Assembler to join the production team on a temporary basis. This is a hands on role involving the assembly of electronic components, cable harnesses and PCB boards within a structured manufacturing environment. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, working to strict specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of cable harnesses and PCB boards to detailed specifications
- Hand soldering of components (surface mount and through hole)
- Crimping, stripping and terminating cables
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and build instructions
- Inspecting work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health & safety and ESD procedures
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in cable assembly and/or PCB assembly
- Proven hand soldering experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
- Experience working in an electronics or manufacturing environment
