Facilities Coordinator Location: On-site Waterbeach Salary: up to £40k per annum Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our client’s team. Reporting to the HSEF Manager, you will oversee building and equipment maintenance within our production/manufacturing facility. Your role will ensure the seamless operation of our facilities, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards while delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and company policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing rules and procedures. Perform site maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors to ensure quality and timely work. Manage daily maintenance activities, including inspections and general repairs. Maintain maintenance logs and ensure machinery is operational. Provide support for production needs and emergency callouts. Act as a keyholder and respond to emergencies as required. Oversee building infrastructure systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and security/fire alarm systems. Conduct and complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) within defined SLAs and KPIs. Address defects and repairs from contractor service reports. Drive implementation of 5S standards and visual factory improvements. Manage environmental controls and respond to related issues. Handle facilities helpdesk tickets, ensuring efficient resolution. Conduct and action company vehicle checks. Education, Experience & Competencies: Proven experience in a facilities maintenance role (essential). Strong communication skills, with a proactive and diplomatic approach. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Mechanical and/or electrical qualifications or relevant M&E experience (desirable). Forklift license and IPAF certification (desirable). Driving license and keyholder experience (essential). Ability to work at heights. Other Requirements: Willingness to work additional hours if needed to achieve production goals. Portable Appliance Testing certification (desirable). A self-starter with a “can-do” attitude.
