A busy and fast-growing supplier of specialist products is looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the smooth running of its multi-site warehouse operation. You’ll help lead daily activities across goods in, picking, packing, dispatch, and a dedicated flooring department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and great service.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support teams across multiple warehouse functions
  • Oversee goods in, order picking, packing, and flooring preparation
  • Maintain workflow efficiency and drive process improvements
  • Support stock accuracy and participate in stock takes
  • Uphold quality standards and health & safety procedures
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff
  • Resolve operational issues and communicate clearly with management
  • Leading a team of up to 3 day-to-day, with wider cover for 16 staff when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience (goods in, picking, packing, dispatch)
  • Supervisory or team-leader background
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT literacy (WMS experience beneficial)
  • Physically fit and comfortable working across multiple warehouse areas
  • GCSE/T Level Maths & English (C/4+)
  • Desirable: Forklift licence, H&S training, First Aid, Fire Warden, Working at Heights, Train-the-Trainer.

42.5 hours per week (08:00–17:30). Occasional overtime. Must have the right to work in the UK. Driving licence and own transport beneficial due to location.
