A well-established engineering company specialising in bespoke machinery and automation is looking for a practical, detail-focused Electrical Technician to join its team. You’ll work on unique, technically challenging equipment for clients in high-tech and regulated industries.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the electrical build, wiring, testing, and commissioning of special-purpose machinery, working closely with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers. Some travel to customer sites for installation and modifications may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and wire electrical systems using schematics and project documentation
  • Install and test control panels, sensors, motors, drives, and field devices
  • Support fault-finding, testing, and commissioning
  • Assist with installation and modification work at customer sites
