Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 HGV Tipper Driver to join a waste management provider based in Wellingborough.

This is a PERMANENT role based on a set shift pattern.

Tuesday to Saturday with a salary of £32,500 per annum and tramping paid at £25 per night. (Overtime is available on occasions if you wish to take it)

Responsibilities

The Class 1 HGV Tipper Driver will be responsible for collecting and delivering waste, animal feed and aggregate nationwide.

The Class 1 HGV Bulk Tipper Driver role will involve

  • Completing daily checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept presentable and roadworthy, reporting defects.
  • Providing customers with a positive and professional service, delivering goods in a timely and professional manner.
  • Loading and tipping as required.
  • Demonstrate due regard to vehicle weight and dimensions and road restrictions always, with the emphasis on safety and economy of movement.

Qualifications

  • HGV Class 1 driving licence
  • Good knowledge of national road network
  • A valid digital tacho card and completed CPC
  • General knowledge surrounding the rules and regulations of the Working Time Directive
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of customer service requirements
