We’re dedicated to supplying high quality products and excellent service to a range of industries internationally in the areas of washroom services, PVC flooring, commercial bins, metal fabrication, rainwater products and winter safety equipment.
THE ROLE
As a Production Operator, you will ensure that products are made efficiently and to high quality standards whilst meeting production targets, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment and adhering to all health and safety requirements. Flexibility is essential as you may be required to work across all workstations within the factory environment.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Producing high quality products in a time and resource efficient manner.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of injection moulding machines.
- Preparing boxes, printing labels, packing products and transferring products from one location to another.
- Ensuring that production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all quality checks, safety checks, downtime reports, daily efficiency sheets and any other paperwork as required.
LEVEL OF QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year's previous experience in product assembly / as a Production Operator.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills with an ability to communicate effectively.
- Legal entitlement to live and work in UK.
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION
- Comfortable working in a busy production environment and operating machinery as required.
- Ability to pay particular attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Ability to co-operate and work as part of a team.
- Good timekeeper.
- Adequate fitness, stamina and manual dexterity in order to fulfil the duties of the post which will involve standing, bending, lifting, carrying, stretching and also working with small component parts.
