Our client, a well-established and respected business within the machine hire industry, is seeking a Customer Support & Sales Advisor to join their team based in Hatfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join a successful company offering a varied role that combines customer service, sales support, and practical hands-on responsibilities.

The Role

As a Customer Support & Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while supporting sales activities and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the business. The successful candidate will be involved in the handover and collection of trailers, fitting roof racks and cycle carriers, and handling automotive products and accessories. Manual handling and lifting of heavier items will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Provide product advice and technical support to customers.
  • Support customers through the sales process and provide after-sales assistance.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer queries efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Assist with the collection and handover of hire and service trailers.
  • Support product fitting and general operational duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience within the motor trade (minimum 1 year).
  • Experience in customer service, customer support, or sales.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using business software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
