Audit and Compliance Officer

Our client is looking for a Compliance & Audit Officer to join their friendly and vibrant team

You will play a leading role within the quality and compliance team in a fast-paced environment.

This includes the maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 and other relevant accreditations - and working towards 27001:2013.

Internal auditing and facilitation of external audits.

Job Description

  • Performing and documenting internal departmental and ISO audits
  • Organising ISO management meetings including taking meeting minutes.
  • Supporting Head of Compliance & Operations with reporting to Senior Management to ensure compliance of requirements of ISO 14001 and 9001 standards.
  • Helping to create and update Company Policies relevant to the department including implementing new Policies.
  • Performing, improving, and documenting GDPR audits
  • Supporting Head of Compliance & Operations with completion of Environmental & Regula-tory reporting.
  • Business Continuity plan management, including disaster recovery testing.
  • Implementing Company Compliance training including ISO and GDPR
  • Assisting Supplier annual reviews and due diligence activities
  • Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently on projects.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use sound judgment including maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Legal, Regulatory and Statutory requirements
