Our client is an extremely successful business with a family feel about it. They are looking for a Production Operative to operate production equipment and perform material preparation, packaging, and basic quality checks.
Primary Responsibilities- Prepare raw materials and packaging, ensuring correct quantities and transporting them to designated production areas
- Operate processing equipment according to instructions and standard procedures
- Check labels and packaging materials to ensure correct application and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with housekeeping requirements
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor
- Basic level of education (UK equivalent; no high school requirement stated)
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and manual handling
- Good English communication skills
