  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturdays on a rota basis

Our client is looking for a hardworking and reliable Builders Yard Operative to join their busy and fast-paced builders' merchant yard. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a friendly, hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Serving trade and retail customers in the yard
  • Picking and preparing customer orders
  • Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe
  • Operating a forklift (where qualified/experienced)
  • Assisting with general yard duties as required

Requirements:

  • A valid forklift licence or previous experience operating a forklift
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a busy, physical environment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual
