Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste / Recycling Operative to join their team.
Additional Information
- There are two working sites, and the client will confirm which location you will be based at prior to your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate recyclable and non-recyclable materials
- Identify and remove contaminated or hazardous waste
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear PPE provided
- Work efficiently to meet daily operational targets
- Support team members and supervisors with general site duties
Requirements
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in waste management or recycling is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
- You must be a driver with your own vehicle
