The Role
An established business is looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join its team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, unloading, checking and storing deliveries.
- Preparing, packing and despatching customer orders accurately and on time.
- Updating stock records and locations using an internal computer system.
- Carrying out regular stock checks.
- Reporting low stock levels to the relevant team.
- Receiving and tracking repairs, keeping colleagues updated on progress.
- Supporting production and despatch teams as required.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse and surrounding areas.
The Ideal Candidate
- Organised, proactive and able to prioritise workload.
- Reliable, with good attention to detail.
- A good team player with strong communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new computer systems.
- Holds a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.
