Overview

Events and Experiences Lead — Permanent position, Part home/Part office (London) based , with UNICEF UK.

UNICEF ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We get things done and work to create a safe world for children. This role is to lead the Events and Experiences Team and deliver an engaging programme of in-person touch-points that steward existing partners and reach new audiences to inspire support for UNICEF’s work.

The postholder will directly manage two members of the Events & Experiences team and should have a solid understanding of creating and maintaining income-generating partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Events and Experiences Team and deliver an exciting programme of in-person touch-points that engage targeted audiences to steward partners and attract new supporters.
  • Manage two team members directly, nurturing talent and leading by example.
  • Develop and maintain income-generating partnerships where applicable.
  • Deliver income and end-to-end large event management, with innovative in-person engagement offerings that deepen donor/supporter engagement.
  • Work effectively in a large, complex organisation, delivering across multiple projects and events; adopt an innovative, creative, collaborative approach.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience delivering income and end-to-end large event management.
  • Proven ability to innovate in-person engagement offerings and deepen donor/supporter engagement.
  • Evidence of working in large, complex organisations across multiple projects and events.
  • Creative, collaborative, and able to work in a team environment.
