We are looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team, providing high-quality, person-centred support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities, and Behaviours that may challenge.
Every child is unique, and you will play a vital role in helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve positive outcomes in a safe and supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing person-centred support tailored to each child's individual needs.
- Encouraging independence, communication, and social development.
- Supporting children to access education, community activities, and recreational opportunities.
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
- Building positive relationships with children, their families, and professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records and following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures.
Shift Information
Minimum 4-hour shifts per child. You may support multiple children during a shift. Support can range from 4 to 12 hours per child in a single day, depending on individual needs.
What We’re Looking For?
- A caring, patient, and compassionate approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience supporting children with ASD is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
