If you have some finance or bookkeeping knowledge but want the opportunity to learn more, take on responsibility and progress, this could be the role for you.
At Unicare Complex Care Specialist Ltd, you won't be stuck doing the same finance task every day. You'll work directly with our Finance Manager and gain hands-on experience across invoicing, sales and purchase ledgers, reconciliations, payroll, pensions, VAT and month-end, using Xero and Sage.
You don't need to know it all already we can teach you.
We're looking for someone who is good with numbers, pays attention to detail, learns quickly and genuinely wants to build a career in finance.
The Role
Raising and processing invoices
Supporting sales and purchase ledgers
Bank and supplier reconciliations
Processing expenses and credit cards
Supporting weekly and monthly payroll
Learning payroll, pensions and HMRC processes
Using Xero and Sage to maintain accurate records
Supporting VAT and month-end activities
Assisting with finance reports and management accounts
Handling routine finance queries
What We're Looking For
Some basic finance, bookkeeping or accounts knowledge
Good numerical and Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organisation and communication
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
AAT studies or previous finance experience would be beneficial
Xero, Sage or QuickBooks experience would be an advantage
Permanent UK right to work without sponsorship
Able to work from our Croydon office Monday to Friday
Payroll, pensions, VAT, reconciliations and more advanced finance processes can be taught. Having experience is great, but we're equally interested in someone with the right attitude and potential.
