The Role

The Assessment Delivery Officer is responsible for ensuring the integrity, fairness and regulatory compliance of admissions, entry and preparatory assessment activities across the Academy.

The postholder will deliver admissions and entry-related assessments in line with approved procedures, manage the assessment environment and ensure compliance, consistency and integrity throughout the assessment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver presentations and admissions assessments to applicants.
  • Conduct admissions compliance and application checks at relevant stages.
  • Maintain and continuously improve assessment delivery processes.
  • Review documentation and identify, record and report suspicious submissions or activity.
  • Maintain accurate, complete and auditable admissions and assessment records.
  • Identify, record and escalate admissions-related risks, concerns or non-compliance.
  • Support regulatory reporting, audits and quality reviews.
  • Act as Assessment Compliance Officer, safeguarding academic integrity and applicant welfare.
  • Ensure full compliance with Academy policies, awarding partner requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Verify applicant identity checks and other compliance controls.
  • Produce concise post-session compliance and assessment reports.
  • Maintain systems for recording assessment and compliance evidence.
  • Contribute to risk management, audit readiness and continuous quality improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Admissions, Academic Services, Quality, Registry and Professional Services teams.
  • Maintain independence, impartiality, confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role.
  • Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Experience delivering assessments, training, teaching or structured sessions.
  • Experience managing controlled assessment or examination environments.
  • Experience conducting application checks or compliance verification.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records suitable for audit purposes.
  • Understanding of fairness, integrity, confidentiality and safeguarding within admissions and assessment processes.

Desirable

  • Experience within Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of Office for Students (Of S) requirements and awarding partner regulations.
  • Experience supporting internal or external quality assurance audits.
  • Experience using student records or admissions management systems.
