About the Role

This rewarding role will see you responsible for overseeing the infrastructure, maintenance and safe operation of production facilities, ensuring maximum uptime and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully manage health and safety compliance throughout the factory, including development and monitoring of risk assessments, method statements and Safe System of Work.
  • Oversee daily, preventative and emergency maintenance of building, infrastructure and production machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health and security standards and manage risk.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers for cleaning, security and repairs.
  • Develop and manage facility budgets, including costs for repairs and renovations.
  • Supervise facility upgrades, equipment installations and refurbishments.

Experience and Skills

  • Over 8 years proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in risk management.
  • Proven experience of designing and maintaining a PPM schedule.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Experience in managing projects, budgets and time.
  • Relevant H&S qualifications.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications.
