About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, idetifying opportunities for growth, and supporting the Key Account Managers. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring orders are processed smoothly and client needs are met.
The role combines client relationship management, sales support and account development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing clients

Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their needs and requirements

Support the Key Account Managers in developing strategic accounts

Monitor account performance and sales activity
-
Process and manage client orders from enquiry through to delivery

Liaise with production, planning and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery
-
Provide accurate updates to customers regarding order status
-
Maintain accurate records within CRM and internal systems
About You

Experienced in B2B sales

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

A great communicator both written and verbally
Experience and Skills

Previous experience in the same or similar industry an advantage

Understanding of fabrication methods and material processing an advantage

Strong relationship building and communication skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Commercial awareness and the ability to identify sales opportunities

Good problem solving ability and customer-focused mindset

Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
