Electronics Technician

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team of experienced professionals. The role involves the development, testing, and manufacture of both standard and non-standard products, ensuring high-quality delivery from concept to client. You will collaborate with the Development Engineer and other team members to troubleshoot, test, and develop our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building prototypes for new or critical client projects, including wiring calculations and specifications for production
  • Support technical development teams by researching components, connectors, controllers, etc., to improve products for manufacturing while meeting client expectations
  • Conduct testing and prepare reports for prototypes and current products
  • Build prototype lightboxes or other illuminated products for testing and development
  • Perform production work on complex lighting, electrical, or electronic products
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and assist colleagues as needed
  • Undertake any necessary training to perform the role

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years\’ experience programming LEDs
  • Knowledge of Casambi, Teensy, DMX, and DALI control systems (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of LED products and industry trends (advantageous)
  • Good electrical knowledge
  • Electrical or soldering experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to read basic production drawings
