Why this role mattersTax plays a critical role in protecting the business while enabling commercial and transactional activity across Northern Europe.In this role, you’ll establish clear ownership, governance and oversight of tax obligations, risks and deadlines across the UK, Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
You’ll ensure outsourced tax activity is effectively managed, information provided to external advisers is accurate and complete, and tax reporting, compliance and audit requirements are delivered to a high standard.You’ll also act as a trusted adviser to Finance and the wider business, bringing clear, commercially focused tax insight to transactions, projects and strategic decisions.
What you’ll be getting involved inNo two days will look exactly the same, but you’ll spend your time:Leading the Northern Europe tax agenda across the UK, Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark, ensuring alignment with Group tax strategy, governance and risk requirements.Owning the UK tax process end-to-end, including compliance, reporting, forecasting, audits and the oversight of outsourced tax activity.Providing senior tax input and sign-off for real estate transactions, corporate activity, commercial agreements, financing and restructuring opportunities.Advising on UK property taxation, the UK REIT regime,
