Job details: Uni-Safe Access is seeking an experienced Field Engineer specialising in high level safe access and fall protection systems. This site based role involves inspections, installations, engineering support, and technical guidance to ensure safe, compliant working at height across diverse environments, delivering practical solutions to complex access challenges.
What you will do:
- Survey, design support, and installation of high level access systems (ladders, walkways, platforms, gantries)
- Installation, inspection, and certification of fall protection systems (fixed lifelines, anchor points, guardrails, edge protection)
- Conduct site assessments and work at height risk evaluations
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and legislation
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and on site teams
- Prepare clear reports, drawings, and handover documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and H&S teams
- Troubleshoot on site issues and deliver practical engineering solutions
Who you are:
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of high level access and fall protection systems.
- Understanding of work at height regulations and safety standards.
- Comfortable working at height and in challenging site environments.
- CSCS card preferred (can be provided if required).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- IPAF, PASMA, or other access related certifications.
- Fall protection inspection or manufacturer specific training.
- Confined space or offshore experience (if applicable).
