Unfolded exists to take on fast fashion - and prove there’s a better way to make clothes. We create beautifully designed pieces that are better for the planet, better for the people who make them, and better for the people who wear them. By co-designing with our community and only making what customers actually want, we eliminate waste and create positive impact in the world.
Founded in Edinburgh, Unfolded was born from our founders working with some of the world’s biggest fashion brands to reduce waste, and realising that many didn’t truly want to change. So we built our own solution instead: a radically more transparent, community-powered model that puts impact and integrity at the heart of everything we do. Since launching, we’ve grown to over 100,000 UK customers and built a passionate community of people who care about how their clothes are made. Backed by leading VC funds and angel investors, we’re scaling fast, and we’re looking for ambitious, purpose-driven people who want to help reshape one of the world’s most polluting industries to join us.
If you care about how your clothes are made and want your work to genuinely matter, you’ll feel at home at Unfolded!
The Role
We’re looking for a commercially driven, hands-on full-time Content Creator to create high-quality, performance-led content for Unfolded across Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. This role blends creative storytelling with a strong performance mindset. You’ll be responsible for creating, shooting and editing content that not only engages our organic audience but also drives meaningful growth, including ad creative used across paid social channels. You’ll take ideas from concept through to execution, testing and iteration, with a clear focus on what resonates and scales. Both day to day and through our regular photoshoots.
Alongside building engaging content and nurturing audience connection with a 35+ demographic, you’ll work closely with our growth team to develop ad-driven creative, explore new formats and continuously improve creative effectiveness. You’ll be comfortable appearing on camera when needed and confident in shaping creative direction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Content creation & execution
- Own content creation end-to-end: ideation, filming, editing, publishing and optimisation.
- Create a steady flow of high-quality video content across Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.
- Maintain strong creative standards, consistency and brand alignment.
- Move quickly from concept to published content.
- Audience growth & community
- Create content that builds trust, engagement and long-term audience connection.
- Develop recurring content formats and series that grow familiarity and loyalty.
- Engage with the community through comments, replies and conversation.
- Shape a content style that resonates strongly with a 35+ female audience.
- Translate product stories, sustainability impact and community insight into compelling narratives.
- Bring fresh ideas and creative leadership while staying true to brand tone and values.
- Performance & ad creative creation
- Adapt strong organic content into a scalable ad creative.
- Produce creative variations to explore hooks, formats and messaging.
- Contribute ideas to campaign concepts and creative testing.
As a small but growing team, we all muck in, and you’ll find yourself helping to organise our regular photoshoots and providing creative direction on these as well at times.
What We’re Looking For
- Must-haves
- Proven experience creating high-performing social content for brands or personal platforms.
- Confidence appearing on camera.
- Strong shooting and editing skills with a portfolio of video content.
- Excellent storytelling instincts and creative judgement.
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok content formats and algorithms.
- Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva or similar tools.
- Ability to independently take content from concept to publish.
- Experience building, engaging and nurturing an online audience.
- Comfortable creating content for a 35+ female demographic.
- A positive and self-starting attitude.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience creating paid social or performance ad content.
- Background in fashion, lifestyle, ecommerce or consumer brands.
- Interest in sustainability or mission-led brands.
- A love for clothes will certainly help…
Why Join Unfolded?
- High creative ownership with visible commercial impact.
- Opportunity to work across both organic storytelling and performance-driven creative.
- Join a fast-growing brand with a highly engaged community of over 100,000 customers.
- Real influence over how the brand shows up socially.
- Be part of a purpose-led business actively challenging fast fashion.
