We're supporting a leading global health & fitness business as they continue to expand their data and analytics capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to play a key role in multiple business-critical initiatives, helping to design, build, and optimise data integration and migration solutions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain data integration and ETL solutions
- Build and optimise data pipelines to support analytics and reporting requirements
- Lead data migration activities between source and target systems
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring reliability and performance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards are met
- Provide support for data-related issues and user queries
- Contribute to data integration best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- 3 years' experience in Data Integration, ETL, or Data Engineering roles
- Advanced SQL expertise (data extraction, transformation, and loading)
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration platforms
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
- Data migration project experience
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
- Experience with Data Modelling and Data Architecture principles
- Experience working with data connectors, APIs, and integration technologies
- Strong data quality, validation, and cleansing experience
- Power BI or other data visualisation tools
- Experience within consumer, retail, leisure, or fitness industries
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Experience working in fast-paced commercial environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
