The Project Director is required to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major earthworks & civil engineering project in the Inverness area. The ideal candidate will have a background in earthworks or civil engineering, with experience in highways, roads, groundworks, RC works, earthworks, deep drainage, externals, and heavy civils. Relevant qualifications include a construction degree such as HNC or HND, along with SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
The Project Director will oversee all project elements, including design and technical aspects, managing earthworks, coordinating with agents, engineers, and foremen, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget. Building relationships with clients, consultants, and site personnel, enforcing health and safety standards, and ensuring safe completion of all works are key responsibilities.
