Overview
Estimator required to join leading groundworks / rc frame contractor based in the Bedfordshire area. The Estimator would ideally come from a groundworks / rc frame background. Estimators with project experience covering groundworks and rc frame projects would be an advantage for the role.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of relevant portals for tender opportunities.
- Download of Invitations to Tender into tender folders.
- Preparation of tenders.
- Attend tender site visits as required.
- Production of preliminary tender method statements, safety plans and programmes when required.
- Sending out sub-contractor tender enquiries when required.
- Liaising with Buyers/Plant Dept/Accounts for materials/plant/labour costs.
- Attend tender adjudications with Commercial Team.
- Submission of tenders to clients and/or portals.
- Preparation of PQQs when required.
- Updating client Framework information when requested.
- Attend internal handover meetings to handover successful tenders from Estimator to Site Team.
Qualifications / Experience
Ideally from a groundworks / rc frame background. Estimators with project experience covering groundworks and rc frame projects would be an advantage for the role.
