Overview

Estimator required to join a main contractor based in the London area, ideally on a part-time basis. The Estimator will oversee various projects covering education, healthcare, commercial, residential and local authority with typical values ranging from £500k up to £3m. The Estimator will have a solid background in estimating gained with a main contractor or involvement in new build / refurbishment / fit out projects.

The Estimator will be responsible for PQQs, estimating, tender submissions, and liaising with and working alongside colleagues from the commercial, planning and operational departments. The client offers a competitive salary and package, with ongoing training and development. They are ideally looking for an Estimator for 2/3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage PQQs and tender submissions for projects across education, healthcare, commercial, residential and local authority sectors.
  • Estimate quantities, risks, and costs for projects with values from £500k to £3m.
  • Collaborate with commercial, planning and operational teams to support project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Solid estimating background gained with a main contractor or involvement in new build, refurbishment or fit-out projects.
  • Experience with education, healthcare, commercial, residential and local authority sectors is preferred.
  • Availability for part-time work (approximately 2–3 days per week).
